While on holiday we went to a fancy dress party and had to make a costume out of nothing. Ann dressed in black and went as a Ninja, I wrapped up in toilet rolls as Invisible man. Our mate Phil wrapped up in tin foil as Tinman! Went with the Wed Eve Mountain bike riders. Great fun, lots hangovers!

Cycle Path?
O.K., so I'm a bit behind the times in spotting this but we have our own local box-ticking exercise in useless cycle paths:

New Years Eve Party
Sorry I missed the Air Guitar's actually I looked in all the music shops over Christmas and I could not find one either for me or Ray. Perhaps as well my music may have been rather melancholy!
To the Hostess with the Mostest Lipstick and Garry Glitter. Not only is this the only picture of you two together that I have ever seen it's definitely the best! (by me anyway). Thanks for a great party and all the hard work you are a smashing couple and a credit to our Sport.

Tracking down Ray's event
Well, thanks to Joe Picton and Ray Dare I have been able to pin this event down. The picture of Ray (below) was taken by Joe P and had "WLCA 12" written on the back, but no indication of the year. So I looked through Ray's results and found a WLCA 12 result - which although the result is listed in result order still lists the start number of the rider.
There you have it, and I have a date for Joe Picton's picture... ;-)

Ray completed 225.978m in the event, which was the WLCA 12hr held on 3 August 1969.

NEW YEAR EVE PARTY
Best party ever I think, 50 ish people at least! At one point 7 airguitars going at the same time, lucky I had some spare. Sub Woofer works well in the kitchen! Picture board game went well and Doreen's game. Lots of tasty food and good chat. Finished about 3 am . Anyone take photos?
