Anyone know yet if this is our 2010 Club Champion?

Update: Grant has texted that he thinks he did 166 miles yesterday (on his trike, remember) - which makes him the Kingston Phoenix Road Club 2010 Club Champion.

Congratulations, Grant, riding all four Club Championship distances on a trike is quite an achievement, not to mention becoming Club Champion for the first time at the age of 74!

Dutch or Deutsch?

Just come back from a nice round trip to Frankfurt stopping off in Holland on the way back.
I only managed one day in the saddle to Alkmaar in Holland. A very pretty little town famous for it's cheese.
Here is a picture of the usual Dutch cycle complete with plastic flowers. Mel suggests that we adopt this as standard club kit for all bikes ;-)
The other pictures are from the impressive skyline in Frankfurt and of course a cheesy one from Holland again.

P.S. from Mel: They also sell these flowers in green, orange, yellow, pink..... very pretty indeed :-)

SCCU 25 TT

The KPRC Team minus John Beer who was still on course at time of photo posting our fastest time 1.01.56 and taking first handicap, snatching it from Nick Hostler with a 1.02.47. Well done Brian for getting the hadicap times to within less than a minute of each other except yours truly who was 3 mins outside last 25ml TT on actual time and 6mins out on handicap. You can't win them all!!

As an aside this charming lady while waiting for husband John to ride was adopted by the villiage hall cat who promply jumped into her car and made it's self at home while the lady was reading a magazine about Big Cats (zoom in)
