Is anyone interested in doing this ride on 27 May? It costs £20 to enter the 100 mile event (there are also 50 and 25 mile routes), which for anyone mad enough to consider it, can form the first stage of a 3-day cyclo-sportive, averaging 100 miles a day. I am told the route is fantastic and from looking at the website, the event looks very well-organised with lots of support (including mechanical!), so it sounds well worth the slightly steep entry fee.
