Rawson Shield: A great Start
The start list has just come through and we have 8 riders for this event in two weeks. That's a great start and puts us in a really good position. I will have a look and see who our nearest rivals are but I think we are already there or thereabouts.
Big ups to Chrystal, Joe, Mike, Simon T, Brian, Jake and Steve. Don't forget that the Sporting 10 and 25 are still open for entries.

Medium Gear - Course Revision
OK Folks
London South have been informed and agreed, also sent updated event details to Surrey Police.
Have a safe but fast ride.
Frank
Because of the concern regarding cones on the Southern carriageway on the Capel By-Pass I went to inspect them today, my thoughts are that it would be very unwise for safety reasons to use this part of the course, so we now have an amended course.
Start in Spook Hill as the 10 start, proceed to Beare Green RBT then take the 4th exit onto the A29 (You must indicate your intentions that you are not continuing on the A24) this point will be marshalled, continue as before back to Clarks Green Rbt, Capel By-Pass northbound, past the usual finish by the railway bridge for a further 1.12 miles to finish at Power Pole 1456 at Bushy Croft, just before the 50mph sign. 25 miles.

Brian handicapped the event so that I can place the field out but riders who decide to ride unrestricted may do so but will be classed as a Private Time Trial and receive no club points for this event (Note: Brian qualifies for up to 2 points for starting and finishing because he is on the start sheet, even though he rides as a PTT in the Medium Gear event)

Sunday training ride!
Well done one and all! I can see that I will have to get the training miles in! Saturday I spent overseeing the CTCSWLHilly 50. So disappointing that so few KPRC riders rode especially from the old Pete Mitchell school! Grateful thanks to those like PB, H?, A? and RD who was such a tremendous help along with signer on AL with many others like PB, TL, GF, DV in support! We raised £300 for St. Raphael. I hope that KPRC will support this event in much more numbers in 2015. As for me this Sunday I spent the day helping old people in London really regretting that I was not out on the KPRC Sunday training ride! As Jake said it must have been great soaking up the sunshine!

The competitors are friendly and there is usually a very large slab of cake and a steaming cup of tea waiting for you at the end. There are two other bonuses. Your cycling will improve a lot, no matter what discipline you normally take part in AND you'll help us win this enormous trophy. Get your entries in the post, via the CTT website, or see the handbook.
