We have learned of the recent death of Peggy Jones, the last remaining of our original 9 official founder members, at the age of 97. Peggy was looking forward to celebrating our 80th Anniversary with the club, but it was not to be.
Her family are planning a small, family-only service and then they are planning a "celebration of Peggy's life" on Sunday 19th June at North
Baddesley, SO52 9DT from 3pm. They would welcome any members of the Phoenix who would like to attend. (Sadly several of us who might otherwise have gone will be unable to make it).
